The Foundation is being established early in 2009 with the following mission statement:
    
Enhancing the State Library’s capacity for learning, accessing, collecting, preserving and delivering information.

In order for us to deliver sustainable and innovative programs to the people of Western Australia the Foundation will work with businesses (both small and large) and individuals, along with other like minded groups to promote the value of the State Library to Western Australians.

The Foundation’s webpage will be set up in 2009 and tax deductible donations may be lodged through the website – in the interim should you have any questions regarding the Foundation please call 08 9427 3351 or email Bronwyn Lewis on  bronwyn.lewis@slwa.wa.gov.au

Should you want to include the Foundation in your will please contact us for a codicil, donations over $2 are tax deductible and gifts in kind can be assessed through the ATO’s Cultural Gifts criteria.
