The Australian Jazz Archive - ScreenSound Australia
Hosted by Screensound, the Australian Jazz Archive was established to create a national collection of jazz recordings and materials. It includes the 'National List of Australian Jazz Interviews', a significant collection of oral history tapes on Australian jazz musicians. The databases are easily searchable and some helpful search tips are included.
William P. Gottlieb: Photographs from the Golden Age of Jazz
A collection of 1600 photographs of celebrated jazz artists that documents the New York and Washington jazz scene through World War II and after. The photographer was Gottlieb, a journalist with the 'Washington Post' and 'Downbeat' . The collection is held in the Music Division of the Library of Congress. The site is searchable by keyword and browsable by name, subject and venue. Information is available on ordering photographic reproductions.

America's Jazz Heritage
America's Jazz Heritage is a special partnership between Lila Wallace-Readers Digest Fund and the Smithsonian Institution to preserve and present the history of jazz. The site has descriptions of its exhibitions and programmes. There are music samples, publications for purchase and a select set of Smithsonian and jazz web sites.
Ausjazz: The Australian National Jazz Development Program
Hosted by the National Jazz Development Office the site is full of a variety of news on contests, scholarships, concerts and festivals as well as a magazine entitled 'Jazz Chord'.
