Microform readers & scanners

Analogue micrographic readers and digital microform scanners capable of high-resolution scanning of microfiche and microfilm are available on Level 3. Please bring a USB flash drive to save images.

16mm film player

A16mm film player is available on Level 3 and can be used to view State Library, State Film Archives and National Film and Sound Archive films. Please note that films must be retrieved in advance.

LCD TVs, VHS & DVD equipment

Video and film viewing equipment (to view State Library and National Film and Sound Archive videos and DVDs) is available in the Leah Jane Cohen Reading Room.

Cameras

Cameras are available in the Leah Jane Cohen Reading Room for clients to take copies of State Library material and State archives (not suitable for large material e.g. maps). Please bring a USB flash drive to save your images.
