A swag full of WA history – sharing our stories

Tuesday 29 October 2019 05:00PM to 06:00PM
State Library Theatre

Join Heritage Librarian Peter Edwards as he takes you on a stroll through little known WA stories written for the State Library’s online audience. Was there ever a cemetery on Wellington Street in 1885? Was the Barrack Street bridge ever moved? What was the purpose of the little tunnel beneath it? Come along to learn the answers to these questions. You will also be able to view a treasure recently re-discovered from deep within your State Library’s heritage collections.
