Welcome to the State Library. We offer a range of tours and programs to help you explore the building and our collections. All tours and programs are free.
Maps, music, microfilm and more
This free guided tour of the Library will introduce you to our unique collections. The tour lasts from 50 - 60 minutes. You will walk through each floor of the library, and finish at the J S Battye Library of West Australian History on the Third floor.
Due to demand we now have tours each month:
Monday 10 June 3.00pm - 4.00pm
Tuesday 23 July 1.00pm - 2.00pm
If you'd like to attend, email tours@slwa.wa.gov.au and let us know which day you are coming along.
Groups are also welcome to arrange tours by request.Tours are available between 9.30am and 4.00pm and must be booked a minimum of two weeks in advance.
