Audible Edge is a festival of exploratory music bringing together practitioners from near and abroad in a celebration of sound outside traditional boundaries.
As part of Audible Edge '24, Tone List and the State Library of Western Australia present a series of free workshops in 'Night School' and performances that will offer new ways of engaging with music, sound and performance.
Night School
- 24 March 10:30am–1:30pm Hand-made music albums is a hands-on workshop presented by Mystery and Wonder Records.
- 31 March 3pm–5pm Opt-out presented by Ben Byrne. Ben will deliver this workshop online via Jitsi, from Helsinki. Participants are encouraged to attend in person for post-workshop reflections, but can also attend online.
- 7 April 11am–1:30pm Notes within a small radius of attentive listening: Writing as/and experimental sonic cultural practice presented by Sally-Ann McIntyre. Sally will deliver this workshop online via Jitsi, from Naarm. Participants are encouraged to attend in person for post-workshop reflections, but can also attend online.
- 2 May 6pm–8pm What was that all about? A long-table post-festival discussion presented by Tone List. No tickets required.

- 11 April 6pm–8pm Creative Tools and the Softwarization of Cultural Production: Book launch presented by Michael Terren with Paul Boyé, Skot McDonald and Sze Tsang.
- 27 April 10am–4pm After Lili, a durational piano performance by Patrick Gunasekera. Come and go as you please. No tickets required.
