This is divided into three sequences - alphabetical, which lists postmasters & postmistresses alphabetically by surname and also provides the name of the post office and commencement date; by post office, which provides an alphabetical list of post offices, the names of postmasters and postmistresses at them and their dates of commencement; and chronological, which is a date list of appointments, with the name of the postmaster or postmistress and the name of the post office.
